The other day I was at home with nothing to do, and to busy my self I decided to sew a new dress. After rummaging around a little I decided to give my beloved snake scarf from Indiska a new life as a dress!
Here I am working the snake my way, with a reworked bolero vest from H&M and a statement neckless.
Completely wild?
I love the mix of these textures and prints, controlled chaos you might say!
Here`s the scarf before, mixed with a leopard scarf from H&M, a reworked jean jacket from Gina Tricot and a black dress of my own design…
…and here`s the scarf after I got to work. I tailored the dress to suit my hourglass shape with a v-neck, A-line and used a black sash to emphasize the empireline.
I tailored the back of the dress by sewing inlays that complement my narrow back and flow over my hips.
This black studded bolero was a long vest that I found at H&M/BIB that didn`t suit me at all, but I loved the embellishment so much that I made it work my own way, adding a belt from an old cardi.
Todays hairdo was all about easy and quick; an ode to the 60`s!
