Personal style is just that. I`ve decided my style is Bold Eclectic Chic – designed By Anika with soul and sass.
Personally I don`t feel comfortable in sweet looks, all though I am aware that my look isn`t so egdy, I guess it is all the curves and curls all over the place. I love romance, but I need a big dose of humour and spunk to go with it. I never go for pretty, I love it on others, but for me I prefer ugly-pretty. I like strange colours, I like bold combos, I like egdy accessories, I like it a little off.
I am an emotional dresser, in the sense that I have to love an outfit to wear it. I usually get dressed quite quickly, going with my instinct, trusting that I will get it right, knowing that everything in my closet blends well. Sort of.
When I look at my self in the mirror, observe a rather fanciful mix of colours and prints and think hm, now that is bold, can I really get away with this?, my next thought is YES, of course! That is a choice right there, much better then worrying about whether I look ok or not. Let it rip I say!
Speaking of spunk, I simply have to share this treat with you:
The other night I dropped everything and whipped up a spunky post for my lovely friend Stiletto Siren of Lips Hips & Fashion Tips who was down with the flu. Thank you Stiletto for featuring my first guest post ever!

“….Then one day it finally hit me: Hang on. I am fat! People can see me even if I don`t want them too. I can`t hide, so I might as well wear leopard prints and white on bottom! Perfect logic, no?” To read more and enjoy Stilettos fab blog click here.
Feel better soon Samantha, darling!
