Hi Sweethearts!
It may be snowy and cold outside, but Spring is in my heart, and now I want to enjoy my imaginary Spring through fashion! We have already established that I am in denial about where I live, so this seems like the next logical step don`t you think? I agree.
Welcome to my series: Spring is in my heart! Every week I will sew a dress that inspired by my favourite trends for Spring.
Last week I asked your advice on which trend to do for this last post in my series. Most of you suggested I do oriental prints, so of course I did. You know me, I love prints, and this trend is perfect for exclectic mixes!
McQueen. (http://style.com)
I sewed this dress after I got home from work today, and as I had to work with whatever materials I had lying around this is what I was able to come up with. I used a scarf, some material from a vest and a dress to create
Sort of.

Shoes by Clarks. I cut the front of the shoes to make them more comfy and cute. The neckless is a belt by Noa Noa. Rings, neckless worn as bracelet and earrings by H&M, Top Shop and Accessorize.
I am happy to report that spring finally is gracing Oslo with her presence, so this is my last post in this series.
I hope you are enjoying sunshine and green buds. Happy spring!

ooo ooo ooo, and I never had graduation tassels! lol. Fabulous! Thank you darling, you know I love you right back! xx
wow I love that dress. that green color looks amazing on you, so fabulous with your skin tone. i love the fact that the top of the dress is so colorful and the bottom is black. (not many people are good in black BTW). the leggings make your outfit perfect for a chilly spring day. but how fabulous are the accessories. every single piece is so phenomenal: the rings, the cuffs, and oh the earrings. i really should wear more earrings.

Thank you so much my dear! I really appreciate your feedback! I did have fun playing around with the accessories, I never used to wear them before, I was too shy too, but now I love to mix it up, only wearing pieces that I absolutely love. You would look fab with strong pieces for accessories, you can totally get away with it with your style and beauty. Mwuuuah!
what a pretty dress! You are really creative!
Oriental is my origin et i want the same dress than you!!!
You look amazing!
love x0x0!!

Pretty sure you’re the only person ever who can pull of throwing zebra stripes into an oriental print-inspired dress!

Oh, wow! The colors on that print are so striking. I can’t believe you are so freaking talented. Even if the print isn’t totally oriental, you’re kind of channeling a kimono-type sleeve, too, so I think it all balances out. (:
Psst–I’m over at Just Take a Bow.

Pretty print! And your shoes….. I love them!
Herlig, liker spesielt godt fargene i overdelen! Kjenner meg så godt igjen når det gjelder å benekte hvor jeg bor – jeg har bestemt meg for at jeg egentlig hører til i Sør-Europa, jeg:) Går ikke på ski, heller:) Ha en flott dag!
